"Olivia de Vera photgraphy was such a great choice. Olivia is very sweet and patient. We went to Mathiesson state park for our session, it was a Friday morning 8AM, 45°F, and raining. She put up with all of those conditions and helped us create ideas for our poses. It was very comfortable to be around her for our couple session because she was encouraging of whatever we wanted to do. Her edited photos looked magical! She made us pop and the background (forest) looked so enchanting. We are absolutely in love with the photos and I recommend anyone to contact Olivia de Vera Photography for photo shoots in nature (she definitely knows what she's doing). "Our experience working with Olivia, both for our engagement shoot and our wedding, was top-notch. We were surprised she was willing to drive from Illinois to Wisconsin but very grateful that she did! The way she composes shots and edits them is stylized in a way that's uniquely her's, and that elevates our photos from simple images to true keepsakes. She was also very understanding when we asked her to tweak something and got those changes to us in a timely manner. Our only complaint, and it's a tiny one in comparison to how well everything else went, is that it took about 9 weeks to get our wedding photos. But during that time she was very communicative and I understood that. She did send us sneak peeks as well, which made it kind of fun to wait. I couldn't bring myself to rate her any less than 5 stars because I just love her work!"

"I reached out to Olivia to capture the surprise proposal of my now fiancee and I. Right from the start Olivia was extremely responsive to any questions or queries I had and very helpful in the surprise element of the proposal. When it came to the day she was at the location with time to spare after making a long drive through a snow storm (which luckily cleared just before I proposed!). Olivia successfully photographed the moment of surprise without being detected which was a great feat of stealth considering the environment. She then took many candid photographs along with some photos where she directed us which was a big help, Olivia then caught the added surprise of family greeting us a few minutes after the proposal and again took many photos, both candid and posed. Afterwards we recieved a selection of sneak peak photographs that we could share on social media along with the news, the full gallery was available to us after about 1 week. The photographs turned out absolutely incredible and we could not be happier with the results. The moments and expressions that were so crisply captured will be memories to cheris for a lifetime. I would certainly recommend Olivia for any occasion."

"My husband and I were so happy we chose Olivia as our wedding photographer. We did a civil ceremony at the City Hall in downtown Chicago and some of the preparations were only done a week before. With so much little time, after looking for so many photographers online and asking around, we found Olivia and she was truly Godsent to us. Booking was made so easy by her and she even gave us ideas of locations for the shoot. I remember it was freezing and Chicago marathon was happening that day, so a lot of roads were blocked. We came late but she was very understanding and even allotted extra time to finish our shoot. Not a lot would do that extra stretch for a client. She was very professional, calm, friendly and most importantly takes amazing photos. She is perfect and we couldn’t ask for a better photographer. We were thrilled with the end result and as expected, the photos came out amazing. I would recommend Olivia to all our friends and family. We even asked her to be our photographer once we do our big wedding in the Philippines. She is a gem!"
